If you were holding your breath for the slinky Mini Superleggera Vision concept to make it into production, you can finally breathe a sign of relief.
Unveiled at last year’s Concours D’Elegance in Villa d’Este, Italy, the concept has been reportedly green-lit for production. According to British magazine Car, the roadster will be one of five core “superhero” models in the Mini lineup.
The Mini Superleggera Vision’s cabin features leather, aluminum and black chrome, as well as classic Mini touches.
Penned by Italian design studio Touring Superleggera, the concept gained universal praise for its shape and unique styling touches, and extremely minimalistic yet gorgeous interior. While not everything is universally guaranteed to move over from concept to production, leaked patent images show a production version of the Superleggera would be mostly unchanged.
